Ljómandi is a series of lamps. The lampshade is made out of recycled milk cartons, that is the cartons are cleaned of all chemicals, wax and glue and new paper is made.

The paper has a unique textile quality to it which allowes it to diffuse light in a soft and warm way.

The paper is then folded into the origami shape, kusudama ball.

The word ljómandi means glowing in Icelandic.

The shades come in 3 different sizes with the diameters: 20, 25 and 30cm.
